The specially designed screen shading maintains your view of the outdoors while protecting your valuable interior items from the sun’s damaging ultraviolet light, also known as UV rays; the same rays from the sun that can harm your skin can also fade and discolor your furniture, art work, and floor coverings.
Exceptional Operation
You can select from five levels of openness, ranging from most open/least privacy to least open/maximum privacy. A higher openness factor means increased view-through and more heat passing through. You should choose an opacity based on your needs and preferences. The opacity of your shade also affects the amount of incoming heat and glare. If you live in a climate where temperatures do not often soar to uncomfortable highs, you may want to go with a more open solar screen weave to maintain your view. Midday glares will still be significantly reduced.
Solar shades can also reduce your home’s energy costs by stopping the heat before it enters your home. Heat passing through windows accounts for a large portion of most home cooling bills.

PowerView® uses your home’s WiFi to sync your shades to your favorite mobile device or handheld remote. You can also use most smart home systems to operate your shades using simple voice commands. Roller Shades vs Solar Shades
What the difference is between roller and solar shades? They look incredibly similar but have very different purposes. Roller shades are available in many vibrant colors and are made to block light. Solar shades, on the other hand, come in neutral hues and with the purpose of blocking heat and UV rays. The two shades are also made from different types of fabric. Roller shades are made from fabric or vinyl, while solar shades are crafted using a screen-like material. Roller shades provide more privacy, but don’t allow as much light to pass through. Both styles are perfect for small windows and large spaces as they can be mounted inside the window frame for a snug, seamless fit. Solar and roller shades both roll up cleanly into a low-profile headrail which makes them ideal for shallow mounting depths. You’ll never have to worry about “stack back” blocking part of your view when your shades are fully raised.
