Pirouette® Window Shadings are available in an extensive variety of semi-opaque and room-darkening fabrics. Choose from luxurious fabrics like satin and India silk, or dive into the exclusive Alustra® Collection. This collection is thoughtfully curated and design-inspired, with visually intriguing texture and fiber combinations. The Alustra® Collection incorporates a subtle metallic sheen into the collection’s fabrics and hardware to mimic the high-end fixtures of today. This touch of metal can really brighten up any room with a neutral color palette.

UV Protection

It’s common knowledge to wear sunscreen outdoors, but did you know the sun can be just as damaging to your furnishings and other interior items? Repeated exposure to UV rays from the sun can fade and discolor many of your treasured items, such as flooring and artwork. Pirouette® shades provide up to 81% UV protection when the vanes are tilted open and up to 99% protection when the vanes are closed.

Carefree Upkeep

Your sheer window shadings will not only be gorgeous and elegant, but they will also be easy to care for. A regular light dusting with a soft cloth or feather duster to remove surface dust and debris will be all your shades need to look great. Should your Pirouette® shades encounter anything that leaves a spot or stain, you can use water and a gentle detergent to blot it out. This is much easier than trying to deep clean hardwood blinds without causing moisture damage. Your shades will easily become part of your home. You will definitely notice fewer glares from the sunrise, the sunset, and the midday sun and be able to enjoy gentle, diffused light.

Sometimes It Takes Two

There are times, and rooms, when a sheer shade is not quite enough coverage for light-control and privacy, but a roller shade or drapery may be too much. In these instances, it is practical and stylish to pair your sheer shade with drapery panels or even interior shutters. Close the second window treatment when you want increased darkness and privacy and adjust them as you wish for more natural light.
